I write music, produce audio, and perform music by other people. Everything I make or share with an audience comes from some sort of collaboration.

Composing, designing, and even running an ensemble are all more like arranging, of sounds, ideas, and other people’s perspectives.

I find meaning in arranging and collaborating, and in how we express ourselves through those acts.

I often write for voice, piano, strings, and for individual musicians. I like to combine organic sounds with digital effects, and I think a lot about how physical and virtual spaces affect how music feels. In my writing, I care a lot about harmony, density, and dynamic range.

I often write about emotional language, collective ideals, and doubt.

I write a newsletter every once in a while, with updates on projects and other ideas.
